How can the effectiveness of managers and top management teams be increased? From many years of consulting and management experience, we know that three aspects are essential for this: Open and unbiased feedback, the ability for critical self-awareness and a leadership model that supports the assessment and improvement of leadership skills by following one’s own “leadership journey”.
Our 360° assessment is the starting point for the further development of leadership skills: systematic, comprehensive and from different perspectives. We use the Leadership Circle Profile™ 360° Assessment (LCP) – a scientifically based 360° feedback method. This combines the leadership competencies examined with the underlying mindsets. This clarifies the relationship between patterns of action and inner convictions that influence behavior.
In addition to the self-assessment and the assessment by superiors, peers and employees along 29 assessment dimensions, benchmarking is carried out against more than four million comparison profiles. This makes it possible to determine one’s own level of leadership maturity and supports the interpretation of the evaluation results. Specific measures for improving the effectiveness of one’s own leadership actions are derived from this.
The LCP creates an overall picture of leadership behavior that visualizes and immediately reveals all relevant information. By measuring and presenting the primary areas of leadership – creative competencies and reactive tendencies – the “operating system” of managers is revealed. The comparison of external and self-image clarifies strengths and weaknesses in one’s own leadership behavior. This forms the basis for the personal development path.
